MN Women's Care Provider Profile
Sammy Oberg,
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Sammy has a unique passion for educating and empowering her patients to live a life full of health and abundance. It is her goal to help people reach and maintain their peak potential through chiropractic and healthy lifestyle choices. She loves to educate her patients about how the body is innately designed to thrive when given the proper environment to do so.

Her passion for prenatal and pediatric care comes from several years of practicing in family wellness centers. Witnessing her patients heal and reach goals through chiropractic care is always so inspiring. In addition to the care provided in the clinic, she strives to provide her patients with tools and resources to set them up for success during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

In her words:

“It is truly an honor and such a blessing to be able to care for women during such a special time in their life. Helping women during pre-conception, through prenatal care, into postpartum and having everything come full circle is one of my favorite parts about being a prenatal chiropractor. Each woman is so unique, and it is my goal to provide specifically tailored care to help them feel their best. It brings me so much joy to be a part of their journey and I am thrilled to be a part of this team at Minnesota Women’s Care.”

Education

Dr. Sammy gained her undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Winona State University, and her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.

With her passion for pediatric and prenatal care, she pursued additional post-graduate education and training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and she is also certified in the Webster Technique. (The Webster Technique is a specific analysis and adjustment of sacral misalignment during pregnancy that normalizes the pelvic neuro-biomechanics and facilitates optimal fetal positioning by reducing intra-uterine constraint.)

In Real Life

When she is not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Sammy with her husband and two children. As a family, they love spending time together going for walks with their dog named Chief and exploring new places and restaurants. Their absolute favorite is summertime at the cabin.
