MN Women's Care Provider Profile
Dr. Elizabeth Rice
Dr. Rice has returned to her native Minnesota after her medical training in Missouri, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. She is a licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Here's what Dr. Rice says about practicing medicine as an OBGYN:
I grew up in the St. Paul suburbs and it has always been my intent to bring the skills I learned in training back to the area I call home. I enjoy all aspects of OB/GYN care, but I really take joy in providing prenatal care and then seeing the beautiful family we have helped take care of for 9 months become a reality after their new baby is born. As an OB/GYN we are blessed with the opportunity to care for women through all the key phases of their lives and I enjoy treating the individual issues that are unique to each patient.
When Dr. Rice is away from the clinic and hospital, she enjoys running and was able to complete her first half-marathon while she was a resident. She enjoys baking and trying new recipes. She and her husband have a dog named Ivy -- a Havanese mix -- they enjoy taking to the dog park. Dr. Rice enjoys traveling and planning her next adventures.
