MN Women's Care Provider Profile
Kristen Nordahl,
Certified Nurse-Midwife
Kristen has an incredible range of experience as an RN. For more than 10 years, she was a nurse in a busy hospital in the Twin Cities area. She began her career as a staff RN in labor and delivery, postpartum, and the nursery. Her strong leadership skills and nursing experience led to her position as the charge nurse for labor and delivery. Our team was fortunate to work with her in that capacity and we developed a tremendous respect for her abilities. Upon completion of her Master's in Nurse Midwifery, we welcomed her to our team.
About her philosophy of care, Kristen says:
"Midwives play an essential role in helping women to achieve and maintain optimal health throughout their lives. I strive to treat each patient I see with kindness and compassion, aim to provide individualized treatment based on personal needs and goals, and aid patients in making educated decisions about their health both during and outside of pregnancy and childbirth.
My entire career has been dedicated to caring for women during some of the most vulnerable, emotional, and transformative moments of their lives. I am extremely passionate about women’s health care and consider my role as a Certified Nurse Midwife to be incredibly rewarding and a true privilege."
