MN Women's Care Provider Profile
Rachel Snell,
Certified Nurse Practitioner

Rachel is a native Minnesotan who just recently moved back to Minnesota after years of education, training and experience as a nurse in Chicago. She attended Rush University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Loyola University for her Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) degree. Her practice experience included Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago where she worked with post-surgical gynecology patients including a gynecological oncology population.

Rachel has a huge family and the draw to be closer to them pulled her back to the Twin Cities. During the past few years she's been working with diverse communities of women all over the state of Minnesota.

Rachel is a new mom, and as our new moms all know, there isn't much "free time." When she can take a break, she loves to take long walks with her husband and son. She stays warm in winter by knitting, reading, watching movies, and watching Sunday Football. We have a Vikes fan!

Rachel said she had a large family ... and she does! Every summer they meet at a cabin in Brainerd where 60 (SIXTY!) family members vacation together as they have for more than 65 years. That's impressive!
