In her words
Deanna works hard to help women feel comfortable and confident. About her work, she says,
"For over 20 years I have worked at creating a partnership with my patients - working with them on a realistic plan for their diabetes care. With each patient I take the time to know them and understand their nutrition needs and goals. Patient concerns drive our conversations and planning in an evidence-based approach. My goal is to make patients feel comfortable and confident in mananaging gestational diabetes and have the best possible outcome for mother and baby."
Activities and Family
Deanna says, "I have lived in Minnesota all of my adult life and live for the beautiful summers. On a nice summer day you just won’t find me inside. I love to swim, bike, walk, play pickle ball and soak up the sun.
She has 3 grown children and takes to heart what a wise co-worker told her many years ago about her growing family … "Just remember, the days are long but the years are short." Wise words, indeed. Thanks, Deanna!
